North Georgia Massage School Represented at ABMP Forum in Colorado

The Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), a leading educational and governing organization for the massage therapy industry, is hosting a three-day forum in Boulder, Colorado this week.  Patricia Babin, Instructor and Director of Administration at Cohutta Healing Arts Institute (CHAI), is one of several massage school directors from across the U.S. attending the 2014 Forum.

ABMP-ForumABMP has created an “interactive gathering designed specifically for owners, administrators, and instructors of massage schools.  Today the School Issues Forum has evolved into a unique and inspiring meeting of massage school professionals where everyone has the chance to contribute and build the knowledge base of the massage education community.”

Session topics include:
Meeting Teacher Challenges Today and Tomorrow
Change Ready Massage Schools – Preparing to Thrive in the Next Radical Decade
Teaching Program: You! The Curriculum Expert

“At the end of each day, administrators and instructors gather to share what they have learned, talk about new ways to improve massage education, and help their schools and students thrive.”

Massage therapy students at CHAI have the best of both worlds. There’s the friendly and personal instruction that comes with attending school in a small North Georgia mountain town, coupled with faculty who are industry leaders and contributors to massage trends at the national level.
