Another CHAI Graduate Launches New Career in Massage Therapy.

Cohutta Healing Arts Institute School of Massage graduate Timothy Bond has started “Moving Forward Massage” in downtown Ellijay.

Timothy Bond graduated this past Spring from North Georgia’s premier massage therapy certification program, passed the MBLEx* licensing exam, and obtained his state of Georgia license to practice therapeutic massage.

TimothyBond-web“I want to help people reach peace in their bodies – especially those involved in sports or other physically demanding activities that require strength and endurance;” says Bond, who knows how to ease tension and stress with a wide range of relaxing and therapeutic massage techniques. According to Timmy; “I’ve learned many different skills and techniques for reducing stress and easing pain for all body types, but I have a personal understanding of the demands that athletic enthusiasts face and hope to help people meet their body’s goals and expectations.”

Timmy is offering 30, 60 and 90 minute massage therapy sessions at the Natural Wellness Center of Ellijay, located at 29 North Avenue, in downtown Ellijay. Visit for more details or follow @movingforwardmassage on Facebook.

Prior to taking the licensing exam, Timmy and other graduates of CHAI’s massage therapy certification program completed an extensive curriculum that exceeds state requirements. The north Georgia massage school’s 100% Pass Rate for the licensing exam is a tremendous affirmation of both the quality instruction and the caliber of students that have graduated from the program. CHAI graduates are employed at spas, massage centers and chiropractic offices across north Georgia. Timmy is among several who have established their own independent massage business serving clients’ needs as entrepreneurs in Gilmer County.
