Massage offers much needed Human Touch

According to Ray Williams, contributing author for Psychology Today Magazine, human beings are in more need of touch than ever. a tech-saturated world, non-sexual human touch is in danger of becoming rare, if not obsolete. Despite the benefits of digital advancement, it is vital to preserve human touch in order for us truly to thrive.

Massage Therapy clients arrive with varying needs for touch, the majority of which are to relieve pain and help with healing.  However, as professional massage therapists, we have long known that an important part of what we provide is compassionate, healthy, non-sexual touch from another human.  We humans simply cannot grow and thrive without it.

Schedule a Student Clinic Massage. Beginning in April, student clinic massages will be available on Tuesdays from 10am – 3pm.

Want a career you’ll love?  Apply now for Spring Evening Class at CHAI School of Massage.  Massage Therapy Certification evening classes begin in April and will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 5pm-10pm and one Saturday per month from 11am-4pm. Additional days may be added for student clinic. Spring Class Registration closes March 18, 2016. Fall Day class begins in September and meets 10am-3pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and one Saturday per month 11am-4pm.
