It’s Graduation Time Again at CHAI School of Massage

You’ve heard the expression, “Time flies…” For massage therapy student, Alex Lawson, a year has “flown by.” Alex is about to graduate from the Cohutta Healing Arts Institute (CHAI) School of Massage year-long certification program.

A-Lawson“I was surprised by how quickly this past year has flown. We covered a ton of information. I particularly enjoyed the clinic hours where we practiced on actual clients and received great feedback from both the clients and the instructors.

“Becoming a massage therapist is the perfect stepping stone toward a career in helping others. I want to make a difference and help people through a natural, holistic approach. This includes a belief that optimal health isn’t just the absence of pain or sickness, it is a commitment to an overall mind-body-spirit healing process. I toured a few other massage schools, but the instructors and the comprehensive course work at CHAI made the difference for me.

I know I’ve learned more than enough to confidently pass the licensing exam and get to work!”

According to Jennifer Houle, CHAI School of Massage Director of Education: “The school’s curriculum goes beyond what is required in most states. It’s a fast-tracked, information-packed, serious education; not only in massage therapy, but also anatomy, physiology, pathology and business and marketing for bodywork professionals. The massage therapy certification program prepares students for the national licensing exam and equips them with the skills needed for a career in compassionate, healing touch. We’re proud of the work and dedication of everyone in this graduating class and wish them great success in the years to come.”
