Jennifer Houle is a dedicated and compassionate holistic health provider.  She has been a leader in the Massage Therapy industry since her graduation from the Humanities Center School of Massage in 1999.  In 2010, Jennifer graduated from Trinity School of Natural Health with a Doctorate in Naturopathy and is the owner of the Natural Wellness Center of Ellijay.

Ever the consummate teacher, Jennifer is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education for the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.  She writes and lectures on various massage topics nationwide.  Jennifer offers instruction in the areas of massage theory and application, history, anatomy and physiology, advanced massage technique and clinical internship, business and marketing, and ethics of touch.

As co-founder and Director of Education at Cohutta Healing Arts Institute, she welcomes the opportunity to share her knowledge and many years of experience with the next generation of massage therapists.

With a view toward holistic lifestyles and living, Patricia Babin brings her experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, a registered Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® practitioner, Naturopathic Doctor, Yoga Instructor and Reiki Energy therapist to the Cohutta Healing Arts Institute. With a foundational knowledge of the human body learned through nursing school and extensive training in Anatomy and Physiology geared toward the body worker, she possesses a unique synthesis of training in both Western and Eastern modalities and a keen interest in all human sciences. To learn more visit

As a successful business owner for over 20 years, Patricia has a unique perspective to bring to the classroom; not only how to teach her students about the human body, Asian therapies, nutrition and exercise, but also how to guide graduating massage therapists into the practical world of marketing, management and business.

Linda Stanley is a graduate of CHAI, a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner and is the owner of Heaven Sent Massage of Ellijay. She has over 20 years’ experience in healthcareand medical records. She is also a 2002 graduate of Georgia Northwestern (formerly Coosa Valley Technical College) with a diploma in Business Office Management.  As Clinical Director Linda teaches the importance of medical terminology and the necessity for accurate charting, both of which are building blocks for the knowledge and communication skills required to be a massage therapist.   Linda’s enthusiasm for Swedish Massage, lymphatic drainage and neuromuscular therapy are evident as she guides the students through these massage modalities.

Kelly Buddenhagen is a graduate of CHAI, owner of Humble Hands Therapeutic Massage of Ellijay and is a retired Paramedic. Kelly’s passion and creativity for teaching has earned her national, regional and state notoriety as an educator and facilitator of adult learning.  For our Massage Therapy students, she’s able to break down the complex topics of anatomy,  physiology and pathology of the human body in such a way that any learning style can absorb and understand the information.  Kelly also brings her passion to the instruction of myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy.

Jill Darling, DC is a 1992 graduate of Life University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Eckerd College where she majored in Biology and minored in Human Resources and is the owner of Back to Basics Chiropractic in Ellijay, GA.  As an Instructor at the Cohutta Healing Arts Institute,  Dr.  Jill offers instruction in the areas of anatomy and physiology and brings an extensive wealth of knowledge in skeletal system pathology and postural  analysis to the classroom and our students.
